Support Services 07395 959240

Our charity and centre has been an integral part of the lives of many in Bromyard and surrounding areas for over 20 years. We are a safe and friendly space at the heart of the community and offer people support from the centre or in the community. In 2020, we expanded the way we delivered support thanks to some important funding from The National Lottery Community Fund. Using our professional skills, local knowledge and experience of delivering support to people at times when they most need it, this is available to everyone in the community.

What support is offered and how do we do it?

It could be help sorting out benefits entitlements or managing rent arrears or debt, or it could be that you are having a relationship problem and need some friendly, confidential advice.  You could be feeling lonely and would like help with opportunities to meet and socialise with others. You might feel you need some help to manage your mental health or you might have difficulty getting out and about or getting information about something.  We can help with all of that.

How to get help? You can be referred by someone you know (a professional or friend) or you can ask for support directly.

For any information please call or text 07395 959240 or mail info@hopefamilycentre.org

Who is the team?

Led by Heidi Mulholland, the Services Manager, and an experienced team of professional staff, the team is approachable and friendly.  We are used to listening and supporting people and we care about making a difference. At the same time, our service is also built upon strict safeguarding and confidentiality policies and procedures.  A full range of policies and procedures are available and regular reviews and training ensure everything complies with latest guidance and regulations.

How do we help? We will get in touch (either by phone or text or social media depending upon what is best for you) and from there agree what’s going to happen next and how we can help.

Our centre has on site free parking and is easy to access with full accessibility and an on site lift.  Our café is a great meeting place that provides an informal and discreet way to meet without any problems.  We work in a positive and empowering way that acknowledges each person and their unique circumstances.  We will work at a pace that suits each person we support and we will take time to understand the challenges or issues that occur.  Knowledge and understanding is a key part of what we do.

Our cafe is open to all the community and is open daily in the week. We are a safe and friendly place for everyone. Our soft play area is great for children and is free.
