Meeting Boris the Lamb
This is ‘Boris’ the lamb and he belongs to one of the little girls in the Caterpillar room.He came to visit for ‘show and tell’ in the morning.
All the children at nursery went into the garden to see him.

Dinosaur week in Preschool
This week we used dinosaurs in imaginative play, to expand vocabulary, develop mathematical skills and to create artwork.This week in the Caterpillar room…
Caterpillar Room children have been taking part in weekly cooking sessions.
They have made various recipes to learn new techniques, handling new tools and visiting new words to expand their vocabulary. It has helped develop their ability to take turns and understand and follow instructions.
Recently the Caterpillar children have enjoyed cutting and preparing fruit to make smoothies and have made chocolate fudge cake and pineapple upside-down cake. They have also enjoyed reading the recipe books in the Book Corner and chose to make Lemon Spiral Cookies.
