The Hope Centre is proud and delighted to have a received new funding from the Coronavirus Community Support Fund, distributed by The National Lottery Community Fund, in partnership with the Government. This funding will see the introduction of a new money advice service in partnership with Citizens Advice Bureau for Bromyard and the continuation of our Community Food programme until March 2021. We would like to thank the Government for making this possible.

This first month has been a busy one; we have been out and about ensuring people know about the project, delivering leaflets and talking to people about how we can help. We have listened to what people and have helped with a variety of things from getting the right tin opener for someone with a visual impairment to agreeing to cook meals for someone who is temporarily suffering financial hardship. We have also helped people with their banking, medication and have just generally been able to chat and give people time to share their worries and offload their concerns. Sometimes it doesn’t have to be a big thing that makes a big difference and we are here to help.
Our team has been busy trying to make sure as many people as possible know how to get hold of us and use our really simple referral system. People have phoned, texted and used social media to get in touch and we are glad we can help. We are here to listen, talk and support and if you need help just phone or text us on 07935 959240.
