Coping with the recent cold weather

January 18, 2024 By Aaron Willoughby

As the winter season persists, many areas are experiencing freezing cold weather conditions. We hope this message finds you well and coping with the plummeting  temperatures.
During these times, taking care of yourself and your community is essential. We at the Hope Centre are happy to help when and where possible, either by supplying a meal, having a conversation with an isolated family member or friend.
We also provide warm a meeting point in our Hope Café, where friends and family can have a catch up with a hot drink (and maybe a cheeky piece of cake) while children can use the soft play in the warm and dry.
There are various ways we provide help and support to the local community whether directly or through signposting onto the right support service.

The Hope café is open to all the community and is open daily in the week and on the second Saturday of every month. We are a safe and friendly place for everyone. Our soft play area is great for children and is free.
