The HOPE Family Centre is inviting residents and local businesses to participate in their Christmas Fair by booking a stall or visiting the event which is taking place on Thursday 8 December between 6.00pm and 9.00pm.
Stall holders can book a space for £5.00; the entrance fee for shoppers is just £1.00.
Local crafts and gifts and other products will be on sale, including Jono Simpson of Jonos Simpson Woodcraft, Beauty Within, Mary’s Keepsakes and Oaklands Candles.
The event will raise much needed funds for the Centre’s Early Years department. Charlotte Wynter – who organises the event – is delighted that over 30 stalls will be at the Fair and all those attending have donated raffle prizes, ranging from gift vouchers, gift sets, jewellery and bunting to soaps, books and other festive items.
Sarah Eardley, Chief Executive Officer at the Centre said: “Our Christmas Fair provides shoppers with a fantastic festive shopping experience; held at the Centre it transforms it into a shopper’s paradise packed full of gorgeous Christmas gifts. We are really proud that the event is a truly local affair with both stall holders and visitors from the nearby area, making it a real community occasion. We look forward to welcoming you!”
