Jan Pearce-Higgins – Chairman issued this statement on behalf of the Board of HOPE for children and their families Trustees
Over the last 16 years HOPE for children and their families has provided a wide range of support and services for children and their families in Bromyard and surrounding area. Starting out with little more than a box of toys in a church hall, today HOPE is a successful charity providing an outstanding service and facility that benefits the local community. Much of this success is due to the vision and hard work of its founder and Chief Executive Sheenagh Davis MBE.
The trustees of HOPE have today announced that Sheenagh will be redefining her role within the organisation. She will be concentrating on the promotion of HOPE and also developing practice based research within the HOPE Centre. It is intended that this work will be shared at a wider national level. She will also continue to play a central role in the future development of HOPE.
We are grateful to all our partners, staff and volunteers for helping to create an organisation that has inspired and helped so many children and their families. As HOPE enters this new exciting phase we look forward to their continued commitment and to a very bright future.
A formal search for a new full time Chief Executive Officer is underway. We aim to have a new CEO in post by early 2016. See here for more details.
