Family Centre welcomes New Year employees
The HOPE Family Centre, based in Bromyard, has recently appointed several new staff members following a successful recruitment drive.
- Becky Cox, Early Years Manager – Becky has a BA Psychology degree; Early Years Teacher status (Early Years teachers are specialists in early childhood development, trained to deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage for children from birth to five) and Cache Level 3 Childhood Studies and a Certificate in Education, Teaching and Training. Her passion and commitment to Early Years is one of the many assets she will bring to the team with the aim for her department and team to become leaders in Early Years education;
- Gail Harding, Café Manager – Gail worked as the Catering Tutor at Glasshouse College and is local to the Bromyard area. She has experience in setting up cafés as well as running large catering establishments. She has many extracurricular interests including raising alpacas and felt making and one of her aims is to introduce a number of new courses and learning opportunities using the excellent kitchen facilities at the Centre. Of her many aims, Gail would like to reinforce healthy eating through varied and exciting menus as well as promote that cooking is fun!;
- Becky Hill has recently joined the Administration Team, assisting the Centre with its admin and reporting. She is local to Bromyard and brings a wealth of supervisory and administrative experience to the role. One of her initial projects will be the redesign of the reception foyer to reflect the Centre’s aims and the services on offer;
- Charlotte Wynter will become Deputy Manager Early Years from 20 February providing maternity cover for Gemma Lloyd. Charlotte has been an EY practitioner for 5 years and is taking her first steps into management. Her organisational skills are renowned in the Centre as well as her excellent Early Years practice. This combined with her understanding and knowledge of the children at HOPE will be key in ensuring the continuing success of the department.
We would like to welcome our new team members and wish them well in their new roles. Ensuring that we remain at the forefront of supporting those in our local community requires us to attract and develop expert personnel. We are delighted with all of our new appointments. The team’s strength and experience is key to ensuring our charity continues to provide excellent support, education and services.
