The A465 Road Closure

August 5, 2019 By Aaron Willoughby

We would like to share a letter that has been provided to us by Balfour Beatty on carrying out the road works to the bridge at Stoke Lacy.

It explains what, when and how long the works are taking place along with contact information for any questions that are not answered in the letter, it also has a map to show where the closure is on the A465.

Please see – Essential Information Letter

Thank You to all of the Friends of Hope

June 17, 2019 By Aaron Willoughby

We would like to say a huge thanks to our loyal Friends of Hope members for the purchase of the new car park lights.
Friends of Hope raises funds through an annual membership schemes which entitles you to discount in our community café.
The new bollards mean the car park will be better lit when the light fades and this will help everyone using the centre.

We Asked, You Said…

May 20, 2019 By Aaron Willoughby

The thoughts and views of those who use our Centre matter to us. To make sure our services are what you want we ask for feedback from everyone after they use the centre and twice a year for a week we also ask visitors to complete a Snapshot survey.  In our most recent survey in April, 100% of you would recommend us to friends and family and of 98% respondents were either satisfied or very satisfied with the service they had received.  We are very grateful to everyone for taking the time to support us.  We are here to support our local community including professionals and other organisations that use the facilities.  Below we have compiled some of the comments and views of those who have taken time to give us feedback.  Thank you to everyone for their participation.

BINGO SUCCESS!

April 15, 2019 By Sarah Eardley

After a great night of Bingo on Friday at Bromyard Public Hall we want to shout out a big THANK YOU to Tina who called the numbers for us and to everyone who came along.
We raised £821 and were overwhelmed by the turnout and support for our charity. On behalf of everyone at the Hope Centre thank you to local businesses, family and friends and suppliers who baked cakes, bought raffle tickets and donated prizes – we are feeling very grateful!
The prizes were amazing and the turnout was brilliant!

Thank you to everyone who contributed and made the night the success it was.  We all enjoyed it and will be back again soon hopefully!

Grant news

March 29, 2019 By Sarah Eardley

We would like to thank Relief in Need Bromyard and The Eveson Charitable Foundation for making March a great month for us funding wise. We learned that both trusts have made us awards totalling £12,000.  Relief in Need is a local charity that allows us to offer much needed support to children and families directly and we are very pleased to continue to receive their support.

The Eveson Charitable Foundation have awarded us £10,000 for 2019-20 as a contribution towards the services we offer at the Centre and we are very grateful for this generous contribution.

If you would like to support us you can do so by using the Donate button on the home page of the website or by becoming a Friends of Hope member. Your annual membership entitles you to a discount when visiting our child and family friendly cafe upstairs at the Hope Centre.  Forms are available in reception at the Centre or by asking at reception. Alternatively if you visit our Friends of Hope page you will find more info.

The Hope café is open to all the community and is open daily in the week and on the second Saturday of every month. We are a safe and friendly place for everyone. Our soft play area is great for children and is free.
